Rule no. 1

To live and be able to succeed, rule number 1 says that: you must focus on the task at hand. Do not listen to gossip and do not engage in politics around you. When you say something, it will affect someone else and hence politics happen. What you do not want to happen is insubordination or lack of support for you to do your job successfully and to completion. Hence you must focus on the job at hand and do not allow negative thoughts to push you back.
