Well you know how it is, after a few days, you want to know how your teeth and gums are doing after the tooth extraction.
It started with me feeling that something with a slight protrusion was making me feel uncomfortable. Fingering about I felt that possibly some bit of the extracted tooth had stayed on embedded in my gums! (Don't have to read further if you are squeamish...) Well, I went to the bathroom and prodded further and some blood came out... Oh, oh...Not another trip to the dentist!
Something is still there! Fear of the unknown? Is it something left by the dentist to stop the flow of blood? No, he was so efficient, and why should there be something left there without telling me at that. Why was this bit of tooth stuck there precariously? Did my tooth get shattered to bits when it was pulled out? Possibly, cause it is the end tooth and difficult to see really.
Better make that call and get to the dentist to find out ASAP, because it would be more painful if everything gets healed and pulled again later... So better do it now! (Fear starts creeping in, making a mockery of my previous victorious celebration last week...)
Maybe this is the Penalty Shots!
