I chatted with Theeba just now. Her work place is near the Barbican, in Central London. She left work at 1 pm, as she did not feel good.
The bomb blasts occurred between 8:50 am and 9:30 am, and it brought the public transportation system to a standstill.
Theeba had to walk and got a taxi that would only go as far as Sloane Square, as the taxi driver feared that he would not be able to get back to Central London if he took her all the way to Kew Gardens.
She walked from Sloane Square to near Tate Britain and Pimlico, and got on another taxi that would only take her to Hammersmith. When she reached Hammersmith, she took a bus back to her flat at Kew Gardens.
All in all it took 3 hours.
Tomorrow, she has taken the day off, and might take a day off on Monday as well, and had made an arrangement with her boss to do her work from home and email the drawings to the office.
Such was the arrangement that one has to do after such an upheaval brought to a city like London.
