Around Cambridge

I stayed at Cambridge and went on a three day break to Langham Village sometime last March and April for about 2 weeks. We had evening drives around the Cambridge area and I found out that there is a designated Green Belt around Cambridge, so you won't get industrial sites and housing estates sprouting like mushrooms, and a very scenic drive indeed.

One of the places that we toured was the Devil's Dyke, which is a very long ditch that was built during the Roman Times sited across fields connecting different towns. Devil's Dyke Info

Looking far ahead yonder to find the end of the Devil's Dyke, but no where in sight!

Tired from relentless archaelogical pursuits the traveller takes a breather upon the Devil's Dyke.
